Dear Colleagues!

Saudi Arabia is one of Russia’s most important partners in the Arabian Gulf. Constructive interaction between our countries contributes to the development of bilateral trade, including trade in agricultural products.

In the first nine months of 2024, the trade in agricultural products between Russia and Saudi Arabia increased by seven percent and reached 962 million dollars. The key products in Russia’s agricultural exports to Saudi Arabia are grains, sunflower oil, as well as beef and poultry. We also possess a great potential for increasing the supplies of dairy and confectionery products.

Active trade growth and cooperation expansion prospects require building long-term business relations. Therefore, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture and the Agroexport Federal Center have organized this business mission of Russian exporting companies to Saudi Arabia. I would like to wish all the participants of the business mission fruitful negotiations and lucrative contracts.
SERGEY LEVIN
DEPUTY MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Dear friends!

Saudi Arabia is the largest and most developed economy in the Middle East. The country’s population today exceeds 38.5 million people and is increasing by 2% annually. Its large consumer market and limited domestic production opportunities create a great potential for increasing the supplies of Russian agricultural products to the country.

Saudi Arabia’s hotel and restaurant sectors are actively developing, international catering chains are opening, and investments in the tourism sector are growing, which induce high demand for imported products. The expansion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between our countries is becoming an additional incentive for Russian agricultural exporters.

Our business mission is attended by the leading Russian agricultural export companies. Our business has a great interest in the Saudi-Arabian market and is ready to boost cooperation in the field of food supplies. I am sure that this business mission will help its participants to find new partners and strengthen the already established ties between the companies of the two countries
